Capital One and The Cultivist have teamed up to bring Capital One cardholders free access to different museums.

As compliments of Capital One, eligible cardholders can receive 6 months of complimentary Enthusiast level membership (a $240 value). This membership includes benefits such as access to hundreds of museum exhibits, virtual studio visits and museum tours, and access to insider tips and art classes via The Cultivist app.

You can enroll here to take advantage of this offer.

The Enthusiast level membership also allows a Capital One cardholder to bring up to three guests when visiting partnered museums and includes admission to art events designed exclusively for rewards cardholders on Capital One Entertainment.

After the 6-month complimentary membership period expires, cardholders will automatically be billed $40 each month. The membership can be canceled at any time.

If you are interested in a Capital One credit card, the Capital One Venture X provides premium travel benefits, such as:

  • An introductory bonus offer of 75,000 miles after spending $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months from account opening
  • Annual $300 travel credit for use through the Capital One portal
  • $100 TSA PreCheck® credit

Why We Like It

Why We Like the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card
The Capital One Venture X offers a lot of value to travelers. It’s a premium credit card, but without the price tag of its contemporaries like the Platinum Card or Chase Sapphire Reserve. Even so, you will still pay a hefty annual fee to carry the Venture X — but its perks and credits may make up for the cost.

First, this credit card offers a $300 annual travel credit for bookings made through Capital One Travel. Plus, cardholders will receive 10,000 bonus miles every account anniversary — that’s equal to at least $100 when redeemed for travel via Capital One. You’ll also get complimentary access to Priority Pass Select lounges and Capital One’s own growing network of airport lounges.

The drawback to the Venture X is that its perks and rewards are intimately tied to Capital One’s online travel booking site. So if you don’t plan on using Capital One Travel, then another credit card may make more sense for you. Still, for those who don’t mind booking through the card issuer’s site, the Venture X may be the affordable premium card you’ve been hoping to add to your wallet.

For those who are looking for a simpler credit card solution, the Capital One Venture® card earns 2x everywhere. The Venture card currently comes with the same introductory bonus as the Venture X, though with a lower annual fee ($95 vs. $395) and fewer travel perks.
