Bilt Mastercard New Offer: Double Points on First Day of the Month

Treating yourself to dinner out or booking your next trip is more rewarding if you do it on rent day.

Bilt Rewards is letting Bilt World Elite Mastercard® cardholders earn double points on “rent day” — that is, on the first day of every month. That means cardholders can earn 6X points on dining, 4X points on travel, and 2X points on all other non-rent spendings on the first day of each month. Additionally, cardholders will continue to have the ability to earn one point per dollar on rent payments as well. Note for Bilt, there is a maximum of 10,000 Bilt Rewards Points that can be earned per rent day.

With the Bilt Mastercard earning 6X points on dining one day of the month, it brings the card to the top of the leaderboard regarding possible dining points earned. Compared to other top card dining offers, the American Express® Gold Card earns 4X points on dining daily but also has a $250 annual fee (the Amex point offer is for $120 for selected restaurants and $120 for Uber/ Uber eats, so you can earn up to $240 total for takeout.)

If you have any recurring payments that can be paid via credit card, check with your providers to see if the payments can be scheduled on the first of each month to earn double points on the transaction. But for miscellaneous expense categories, the 2X points offer on “rent day” makes the Bilt Mastercard comparable in points earnings to cards on the market now.

In addition to the increased points earnings on rent day, Bilt has partnered with SoulCycle to offer Bilt Rewards members 2-for-1 at a class on the first of each month. Members can book one bike and receive a second bike for a friend at no additional cost at more than 50 SoulCycle locations nationwide. Bookings can be made via the SoulCycle app or the Bilt app.

Maximize ‘Rent Day’ Points at SoulCycle

In addition to the increased points earnings on Rent Day, Bilt has also partnered with SoulCycle to offer Bilt Rewards members 2-for-1 at a class on the first of each month. Members can book one bike and receive a second bike for a friend at no additional cost at more than 50 SoulCycle locations nationwide. Bookings can be made via the SoulCycle app or the Bilt app. This Bilt partnership with the fitness studio also rewards you 10X points on your SoulCycle purchase.

How to Earn Points the Rest of the Month with Bilt

Outside of rent day, Bilt Mastercard cardholders can also earn 3X points on dining, 2X points on travel, and 1X points on all other spending — for no annual fee. While many other payment platforms may charge a processing fee (usually around 3%) to process rent payments, Bilt offers the ability to pay rent via credit card with no fees.

Earn Points Even If Your Landlord Doesn’t Accept Credit Cards

Even if your landlord doesn’t accept credit card payments, Bilt offers the feature to wire an ACH payment to your landlord or mail a physical check for your rent; you will earn points for these as well! Unfortunately, this feature is only available for residential rent — it does not include mortgages or commercial rent.

Non-Cardholders Also Earn Points With the Bilt App

Bilt Rewards users can find many useful features in the rewards program. Even if you are not a Bilt Mastercard cardholder, you can download the free Bilt Rewards app and connect your loyalty accounts with its 12+ transfer partners and earn at least 100 points per linked account. All of the loyalty accounts are free to create, so you can effectively earn 1,200+ points for free!
