Tired of buying your own groceries in person? Instacart can take over your shopping for you – and will even pay you to do so.
You can now earn 5% cash back on all Instacart purchases if you sign up for the Instacart Mastercard. Launched in partnership with Chase and Mastercard, this no-annual-fee credit card offers an uncapped 5% cash back per dollar on all Instacart purchases, with no cap on the total amount of rewards you can earn per year.
Grocery purchases aren’t the only category where you’ll earn rewards with this credit card. Instacart Mastercard cardholders will also earn 2% cash back per dollar at gas stations, restaurants and select streaming services. Need a card to swipe for other expenses? You’ll earn 1% cash back per dollar on all other purchases.
Instacart credit card holders have access to Chase’s travel portal, and can earn 5% cash back when purchasing flights, hotels, rental cars and other types of travel through the Chase Travel Center.

What are the Other Card Perks?
This credit card is a World Elite Mastercard, which comes with benefits including complimentary 24/7 concierge service, and exclusive offers from popular brands for services like ride-sharing and online shopping, amongst other perks.
Cardholders also have access to the following protections:
- Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver
- Purchase Protection
- Extended Warranty Protection
- Baggage Delay Insurance
- Lost Luggage Reimbursement
- Roadside Assistance

Baggage delay insurance and lost luggage reimbursement are two particularly noteworthy benefits on a no-annual-fee credit card, and may prove to be especially useful during this season of unusual number of flight delays and cancellations. And you won’t pay any foreign transaction fees if you decide to use this credit card to pay for a purchase while abroad.
Ready to spend your easily-earned cash back? You can redeem it in several different ways. You can either request your cash back in the form of a direct deposit each month, or apply it to your monthly statement as a credit against your outstanding balance.
Alternatively, you can redeem your rewards for several forms of travel through the Chase Travel Center including flights, hotels, cruises and car rentals. And come Fall 2022, cardmembers can also use cash back to pay for Instacart orders directly within the Instacart app or online.
Sign-Up Bonus
If you’re interested in applying for the Instacart Mastercard, there’s an extra incentive to sign up sooner rather than later: New applicants who are approved for the Instacart Mastercard will receive a $100 Instacart credit, as well as a one-year membership upgrade to Instacart+ immediately upon approval for the credit card.
An Instacart+ membership normally costs $9.99 per month, or $99 per year.
